I’m a Midwest girl at heart, deeply rooted in family, longtime friendships, and the belief that life goes way too fast not to pause and make memories on purpose. Travel has always been how my people reconnect — with each other, with ourselves, and with the moments that matter most.

 

My husband travels often for work, and whenever I can, I join him. Those little pockets of time together — even short trips — have taught us how important it is to intentionally reconnect. We also travel a lot as a family. Our kids are mostly grown now (one in college, one finishing high school, and one living her dream as a chef at Disney), and we’ve learned that those “someday” trips become right now memories faster than you think.

 

And yes — I also love a good weekend getaway with my girlfriends, a great glass of wine, and zero responsibilities for a few days.
